Use of the Presidential and Executive Area
#1
Hello, all. Here is the run-down for the usage of the Presidential and Executive area of these forums:
  • Non-Citizens (including those who are not logged in) have no ability to see the area.
  • Those who are not the President, the Chief Secretary, a member of the Council of State, or a member of the Cabinet, if they wish to comment or discuss Presidential or Executive matters, must either use the Lounge or respond to a thread in the Press Office. Otherwise, they have only the ability to view.
  • The Council of State includes constitutionally and exclusively the President, the Chief Secretary, the Heads of Departments, Ambassadors, and the "the highest-ranking Admirals and General Officers".
  • The Cabinet of State includes constitutionally and exclusively the Chief Secretary, the Heads of Departments, and any Deputy Secretaries and Under Secretaries.
  • Only members of the Council are allowed/able to post in the Press Office. They may use that area however they wish, provided that it is used only for official business.
  • The Council and the Cabinet may use their respective areas however their chairmen wish. Citizens have a constitutional right, however, to view their deliberations, "except where the privacy of individuals or the public safety exceed clearly the merits of public disclosure". If either body desires and insists to conduct something in private, they need only ask me to make a new area for them.
  • These rules are subject to change at any time without notice.

Thanks for your cooperation ;-)
